Eisold earns NAC Student-Athlete of the Week award

Senior goalkeeper has stellar week for Warriors

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Wisconsin Lutheran College senior goalkeeper Matt Eisold (Burlington, Wis./Burlington) has been named the Northern Athletics Conference Men's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Eisold did not allow a goal in 177 minutes of action last week for Wisconsin Lutheran. He made 10 saves while facing a total of 35 shots as the Warriors went 1-0-1 for the week. Eisold, who leads the NAC with an 86.8 save percentage, has stopped 92 shots in 11 games for WLC.

Eisold and the Warriors (3-6-2, 1-2-1 NAC) host the Benedictine Eagles on Wednesday in a NAC contest beginning at 7 p.m. at Warrior Field.
