MEQUON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team concluded its 2009 season on Saturday afternoon by falling to the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons 10-0 in a Northern Athletics Conference game. Concordia Wisconsin (7-1-2, 10-5-2), which sits in second place in the conference standings, scored five goals in both halfs to account for its scores. Emily Waldorf netted four goals and added an assist to lead the host Falcons. She accounted for 11 of CUW's 47 shot attempts in the contest. Junior goalkeeper Katie Sloan (Omaha, Neb./Nebraska Lutheran) saved 19 shots for WLC. Wisconsin Lutheran finishes its 2009 season with an overall record of 4-14, which includes a 2-10 mark in the NAC. |
