Junior goalkeeper Katie Sloan was named to the NAC All-Sportsmanship Team

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Wisconsin Lutheran College junior student-athlete Katie Sloan (Omaha, Neb./Nebraska Lutheran) has been selected to the Northern Athletics Conference Women's Soccer All-Sportsmanship Team, as the postseason awards for the 2009 season were announced late Wednesday.

Sloan, who played every minute of all 18 games in the net for the Warriors, ranked first in the Northern Athletics Conference in saves (263) and saves per game (14.6), and fifth in save percentage (.783).

The NAC All-Sportsmanship Team is made up of individuals who exemplified positive sportsmanship throughout the season.

Wisconsin Lutheran finished its 2009 season with an overall record of 4-14, which included a 2-10 mark in the NAC.
