Warriors land 82 NAC Scholar-Athletes

WLC landed 81 student-athletes on the NAC Scholar-Athlete list

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Eighty-two student-athletes from Wisconsin Lutheran College have been recognized as 2009-10 Northern Athletics Conference Scholar-Athletes, the conference office announced last week.

NAC Scholar-Athlete status is awarded to all full-time student-athletes competing in the conference who maintain a grade point average of 3.25 or higher for the current academic year. A total of 964 student-athletes from the conference's 13 member institutions were recognized as NAC Scholar-Athletes.

The WLC women's golf team, coached by Chuck Garbedian, had the highest percentage of its roster achieve NAC Scholar-Athlete status as seven of the nine players received the honor. Dave Larson's men's tennis team had six of its nine players achieve the status. Wisconsin Lutheran's NAC Scholar-Athletes are listed below.
