Wisconsin Lutheran College Power Surge dance team members have a love of music and a passion for dance. Team members devote themselves to the cultivation of dance excellence, a dedication to the team and a love for praising God through the utilization of His gift of the talent to dance. Power Surge dancers' primary purpose is to promote school spirit and to contribute to the excitement at men's and women's home basketball games. Power Surge performs during pre-game, has a 90-second halftime routine, and at least one 45-second timeout during each half, in addition to the Warrior Fight Song throughout every game! Power Surge also performs in area community Christmas parades to promote good public relations. Power Surge begins its performance season with the onset of basketball in November. Halftime routines are usually camp routines; timeouts and eight-counts are choreographed by the team. Routines are performed no more that twice. The team will learn roughly 14-20 routines per year, pending the game schedule and team talent levels. As part of the Wisconsin Lutheran College athletic department, Power Surge members receive a varsity letter award at the completion of their season, usually at a fun dinner celebration.. | "Your squad Steve Larson |
