Mike Famiglietti is in his second season as running backs and special teams coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College football team.
Famiglietti's running back corps was second in the NACC in rushing with 1,687 yards and boasted 4.0 yards per carry in 2016. The Warriors collected 15 rushing touchdowns, good for third in the NACC.
Before arriving at Wisconsin Lutheran, Famiglietti served for the 2015 season as offensive quality control and recruiting assistant at the University of North Dakota, a Division I FCS member of the Big Sky Conference. The Fighting Hawks finished with a 7-4 record.
Famiglietti began his collegiate career at Western Michigan University in 2010 before transferring to Western Illinois University and playing his final three seasons for the Leathernecks. He played in 39 career games as a long snapper, finishing with seven tackles and one fumble recovery. Famiglietti graduated from WIU in 2015 with a degree in biochemistry.
Famiglietti played long snapper, center, and linebacker at Muskego High School and was named to the 'Top 10' specialist list by Wisconsin Sports Network in 2009. He also lettered in swimming for the Warriors.
Currently residing in Wauwatosa, Famiglietti in enrolled in the college's Master of Arts program, specializing in leadership and innovation.
