WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. - Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golfer Garrett Ralston (Machesney Park, Ill./Harlem) fired an eight-over par 80 in the final round to shoot a 162 (82-80) and tie for 12th out of 47 golfers at the St. Norbert Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Royal St. Patrick's Golf Course. The Warriors recorded a team score of 667 to place sixth out of nine team at the two-day event.
Tyler Wood (Eagan, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran) tied for 16th with a 164 (83-81). Brett Morris (Burlington, Wis./Catholic Central) carded a 170 (83-87) for 26th, and Brandon Marth (Grafton, Wis./Grafton) was right behind tied for 27th with a 171 (89-82).
Carthage's Kyle Donovan earned medalist honors with a 150 (77-73) to help his team capture the championship with a score of 612.
The Warriors return to the course next Friday for the Edgewood Spring Quadrangular at Bishops Bay Country Club in Middleton with tee times beginning at 9 a.m.
