BEACH PARK, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team registered a sixth-place finish at the 12-team Forester Spring Invite Sunday afternoon at Thunderhawk Golf Club. The Warriors were led by Derick Disch (Greenfield, Wis.) who fired a 75, tying for ninth in the 67-player field.

  • Damon Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) shot an 81 (+9) to tie for 31st place.
  • Johnny Kositzky Jr. (Escanaba, Mich.) carded an 82 (+10), which tied him for 34th.
  • Tim Pridemore (Hartford, Wis.) rounded out the Warriors team scoring with an 84 (+12).
  • Wisconsin Lutheran shot a 318 and finished five shots back of MSOE's fifth-place 313.

FOR THE FOES

  • Carthage's "A" team won the 12-team tournament, firing a team score of 296 (+8), besting the Carthage "B" team by six strokes.
  • Matt Meneghetti of the Carthage A team earned medalist honors after firing a 70 (-2).
