BROOKFIELD, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's tennis team was shutout by defending Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference champion Concordia Wisconsin Wednesday, falling 9-0 to the Falcons at Elite Sports Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Falcons claimed wins at all three flights in doubles play to begin the match. The Warriors' No. 2 doubles team of Jonny Wordell (Mequon, Wis.) and David Ullerich (Milwaukee, Wis.) came the closest but fell 8-4. CUW picked up a pair of 8-1 victories at the other two flights.
  • Concordia Wisconsin also swept through singles play with straight set wins at all six flights. Jeremy Ryno (Grayslake, Ill.) battled to a 6-4, 6-4 defeat at No. 3 singles.
