Jodat's First-Place Finishes Earn NACC Weekly Award

WAUKESHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis./Waukesha North) has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of April 10-16, as selected by the league's sports information directors. This is Jodat's third career weekly honor of the outdoor season and his fourth overall.

Jodat won a pair of distance races in back-to-back days at two different meets last week. He won the 3,000 meters on Thursday at the St. Norbert Twilight in a school-record time of 8:52.93. Jodat returned on Friday to also win the 10,000 meters at the Benedictine Eagle Relays in a NACC season-best time of 32:49.17.

Wisconsin Lutheran is back in action on Saturday for the St. Norbert Invitational in De Pere. Events are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
