Jodat’s Course Record Earns NACC Weekly Honor

WAUKESHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis.) has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of Aug. 28- Sept. 3, as selected by the league's sports information directors. This is Jodat's second career NACC weekly award.

Jodat set a new college and Colburn Park course record with a winning 4-mile time of 20:16.1, topping the 114-runner field at the Tom Barry Invitational Saturday for the second time in his career. Jodat won the race by 12.5 seconds over the runner-up finisher. He became just the seventh male runner to win the event at least twice in the 43-year history of the event.

Jodat and the Warriors are back on the course Saturday, September 16 when they travel to Whitewater to compete in the Tom Hoffman Invitational.
