Jodat's Season-Best Time Earns NACC Recognition Again

WAUKESHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis.) has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Oct. 2-8, as selected by the league's sports information directors. This marks Jodat's fourth straight weekly honor, tying a men's cross country conference record.

Jodat topped the field of 271 runners Saturday at the DeSales Invitational for his second win of the season. The senior's 8K time of 25:52.8 was not only good for a season-best, but was also the 10th fastest time in program history. The Warriors finished ninth of 28 teams at the event.

Wisconsin Lutheran will next race Saturday, October 14 at the Private College Championships in Watertown. The 8K race is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. start time at Brandt-Quirk Park. WLC was fourth of seven teams at the event a season ago.
