Joyce Collects Third Straight Second Team All-NACC Honor

WAUKESHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College's Helen Joyce (De Pere, Wis.) has received postseason honors from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, it was announced Thursday as the awards for the 2017 women's soccer season were released by the conference office.

Joyce was named Second Team All-NACC for the third straight year after leading the Warriors in several offensive categories, including goals (11), points (23), shots (55), and shots on goal (25). The junior started 15 of 17 games played for the Warriors and registered four goals September 23 vs. Alverno, and three goals apiece in back-to-back games Bethany Lutheran and Minnesota-Morris.

Dominican's Josseline Williams was named Offensive Player of the Year while teammate Lexi Kiotis was tabbed Defensive Player of the Year. MSOE's Brooke Zidek was selected as the Freshman of the Year and the Raiders' Rolf Zersen was voted Coach of the Year by his peers following MSOE's second straight NACC title.

The Warriors finished their 2017 season with a 4-14-0 overall record and a 2-8-0 NACC mark.
