Warriors Compete Friday At Dr. Keeler Invitational

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – Five members of the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's track & field team competed Friday at the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central. No team scores were recorded at the two-day event.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Sami Huebner (Sun Prairie, Wis.) finished 13th in the 400-meter hurdles with personal record time of 1:05.92.
  • Kendra Schumacher (Little Chute, Wis.) was 30th in the 400-meter dash with a season-best time of 1:04.50.
  • Hannah Weide (New Berlin, Wis.), Bethany Wagenknecht (Yorba Linda, Calif.), and Cassie Balts (Barron, Wis.) competed in the 1,500 meters. Weide finished with a time of 5:16.10. Wagenknecht posted a time of 5:23.83, and Balts recorded a time of 5:33.32.

UP NEXT

  • Select athletes will return to North Central next Wednesday and Thursday for their final last chance meet of the season, the Gregory Invitational. Events will get underway at 11:45 a.m. inside Benedetti–Wehrli Stadium.
