Wisconsin Lutheran College’s Drew Wempner (West Allis, Wis.) hit .536 (17 K, 2 E, 28 TA) last week for the Warriors, who opened NACC play with two wins over Marian (3-2) and Rockford (3-1). The junior middle hitter recorded 10 kills and hit a program-record .563 in a five-set win over the Sabres on Tuesday, February 18. He added seven kills and hit .500 in a four-set victory over the Regents on Friday, February 21. Wempner also finished the week with seven total blocks and six service aces.
