KENOSHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Senior Michael Sheffler (Appleton, Wis.) set a new school record in the Weight Throw while he and senior Sam Rodmyre (Federal Way, Wash.) also won events to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team on Saturday to a second-place finish at the Parkside Classic. The Warriors finished with 106 points at the five-team event.

- Sheffler won the Shot Put (12.61m) and was third with a school-record mark in the Weight Throw (14.77m). He bested his previous school record in the event from 2020 by .10m.
- Rodmyre finished first in the Pole Vault at 4.00m and was runner-up in the 55m Hurdles at 8.43 seconds.
- Sophomore Jordan Wiesen (Fort Atkinson, Wis.) sprinted to a third-place finish in the 55m (6.75), a fourth-place finish in the 200m (23.48), and was third in the Long Jump (5.80m).
- Sophomore Zeke Micheel (Salt Lake City, Utah) finished third in the Mile run with a time of 4:34.93.
- Freshman Devin Splinter (Ixonia, Wis.) added a second-place finish in the Shot Put (9.93m).
- Senior Thomas Jungwirth III (Appleton, Wis.) was third in the 55m Hurdles in 8.91 seconds.
- Freshman Adam Kriefall (New Berlin, Wis.) placed fourth in the 3000m (9:06.06).
- Senior Cole Kuehl (Richland, Mich.) finished fourth in the Weight Throw (11.87m).
- "What a great weekend we had! Four school records, 17 new WLC Top 10 marks, and 49 overall PR's in a mid-season meet is pretty impressive. Mikaela Sullivan's record in the 800 was one of several pleasant surprises. - The Warriors travel to Ripon next Saturday to compete in the Dick Hendricks Invite. Events are scheduled to start at 11 a.m. inside the Willmore Center.
