Haley Ott (Germantown, Wis.) came off the bench and scored a career-high 16 points to pace four players in double figures in Wisconsin Lutheran College's 58-36 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference win over Rockford on Winterfest Saturday at the Time of Grace Center.
The Warriors (13-6, 10-2 NACC) trailed the Regents (3-16, 2-10 NACC) 8-7 with 3:45 left in the first quarter, but closed out the opening stanza on a 7-0 run to take a 14-8 lead into the second period. Sophomore
Madi Manson (Arvada, Colo.) scored six points in the frame, as WLC out-scored RU 10-2 in the paint.
Wisconsin Lutheran netted the first seven points of the second quarter, including four from Ott, to open up a 13-point advantage. The Warriors, who held Rockford to just four second-quarter points, used a 9-2 run over the final 3:26 of the half for a 30-12 halftime lead. Ott scored seven of her 16 points in the quarter.
Sophomore
Ella Ten Pas (Oostburg, Wis.) gave the Warriors a 22-point lead following her layup at the 8:06 mark of the third quarter. The Regents trimmed their deficit down to 13 points with 4:13 remaining before WLC upped its advantage to 47-30 heading into the final quarter. Ten Pas posted eight of her 10 points for the game alone in the period.
The Warriors scored the first 11 points of the fourth quarter to build a game-high 28-point lead with 3:47 left. RU tallied the final six points of the game over that stretch as the final score read 58-36. WLC ran its winning streak to five games, allowing just 39.6 points over the stretch.

Sam Leisemann (Fall River, Wis.) recorded her third double-double of the season with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks. Manson and Ten Pas added 11 and 10 points, respectively.Â
The Warriors shot 35.1 percent (20-for-57) for the game, but out-scored Rockford 25-11 in points off turnovers and 18-4 in second chance points.
Kyla Wilkerson scored seven points to pace the Regents, who shot 26.1 percent (12-for-46) from the floor.
