RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College posted a pair of personal bests in its final indoor meet of the season on Saturday at the Ripon Final Qualifier inside the Willmore Center.
Freshman
Josh Staggs (Oostburg, Wis.) won the 3,000m run with a personal-best time of 9:00.00.
Freshman
Jack Staggs (Oostburg, Wis.) finished second in his first-ever 5,000m run with a time of 16:42.71.Â
Junior
Zeke Micheel (Salt Lake City, Utah) posted the second-fastest 800m time in school history in his first-ever indoor race with a time of 1:58.65. Sophomore
Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) was sixth in the event with a time of 2:00.15.
In the Mile, sophomore
Adam Kriefall (New Berlin, Wis) placed fifth with a time of 4:54.98.
Freshman Ben Kopplin (Watertown, Wis.) placed seventh in the Weight Throw with a toss of 8.60m.Â
The Warriors turn their attention to the outdoor season, which begins March 24-25 at the Rhodes Invitational in Memphis, Tennessee.
