WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College competed on Friday at the Augustana Meet of Champions and Saturday at the Marquette Invitational. The Warriors scored 16 points at Friday's competition and 18 points at Saturday's event.Â
Junior
Peyton Hartman (Montgomery, Ill.) was runner-up in the 10,000m on Friday at the Meet of Champions with a personal-best time of 32:02.31, which also ranks atop the NACC performance list.
Junior
Zeke Micheel (Salt Lake City, Utah) turned in another second-place finish in the 3000m Steeplechase on Friday with a season-best time of 9:33.91, also good for the top time in the NACC this season.
Sophomore
Carlito Johnson (Milwaukee, Wis.) placed fifth in his debut of the 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:04.94 on Saturday.
Sophomore
Devin Splinter (Ixonia, Wis.) came in fifth in the Hammer (35.77m) and seventh in the Shot Put (11.51m) on Saturday.
WLC 4x400m Relay team was fifth on Saturday with a time of 3:37.11.
Freshman
Jack Staggs (Oostburg, Wis.) recorded an eighth-place finish in his first-ever 1500m with a time of 4:16.55.
Junior
August Davis (Springfield, Ill.) posted an eighth-place mark in the High Jump on Saturday with a clearance of 1.70m.
Wisconsin Lutheran travels to De Pere next Saturday, April 29 for the St. Norbert Invitational. Events begin at 10:30 a.m. inside Donald J. Schneider Stadium.
