CHICAGO, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College collected its third straight sweep on Saturday, shutting out Illinois Tech 9-0 in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at XS Tennis Center.
The Warriors (4-3, 4-1 NACC), who knocked off the Scarlet Hawks (3-5, 3-3 NACC) in convincing fashion for the first time in seven all-time meetings, sit in third place in the NACC with four conference matches remaining.

Katelynn Haskell (Santa Maria, Calif.) and
Jena Smith (Lake Mills, Wis.) defeated IIT's Hannah Markiewicz and Sofia Martinez 8-1. SeniorsÂ
Izzy Hawley (Allen Park, Mich.) and
Sky Pope (Macon, Ga.) edged Paige Geiger and Pilar Torres-Dulce 8-6 at No. 2, while juniors
Haley Olson (Appleton, Wis.) and
Ali Schmidt (Germantown, Wis.) took down Ashley Dame and Maria Moran Miranda 8-2 at No. 3.
Wisconsin Lutheran picked up straight set wins at five of the six singles flights. Haskell had little trouble with Markiewicz at No. 1, winning 6-1, 6-1. Smith secured a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Martinez at No. 2, while Schmidt cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 3 over Geiger. Hawley hung on for a three-set win at No. 4 over Dame, 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-4). Pope picked up a 6-1, 6-4 win over Moran Miranda at No. 5, and Olson was a 6-1, 6-0 winner over Torres-Dulce at No. 6.
The Warriors next host conference frontrunner Concordia Wisconsin (8-0, 7-0 NACC) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Hart Park in Wauwatosa.Â
