WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College was clipped by Calvin 9-0 in a non-conference match on Friday at Hart Park.
The Warriors (0-2) dropped all three doubles contests to the Knights (1-0). WLC seniors
Katelynn Haskell (Santa Maria, Calif.) and
Jena Smith (Lake Mills, Wis.) came up just short at No. 1 doubles in an 8-6 defeat to CU's Catherine Grissom and Rachel Grissom.
Calvin claimed straight set victories in all six singles flights. Smith suffered a 6-4, 6-2 setback at No. 2 singles to Tessa Holman.Â
Wisconsin Lutheran continues its three-match weekend with a 2 p.m. NACCÂ home match against St. Norbert (1-2, 0-1 NACC) tomorrow at Hart Park.
