MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College has debuted at No. 18 in the D3hoops.com Week 1 Top 25 Poll, the organization announced on Monday. The Warriors made the third-biggest jump of any team ranked or receiving votes from the preseason poll.
After registering wins over three teams 'receiving votes' in the D3hoops.com poll, WLC (4-0) is ranked 18th in the first weekly poll of the season. As a team, Wisconsin Lutheran is 13th in NCAA Division III field goal percentage (46.2). Individually, sophomore
Abby Cole (Fond du Lac, Wis.) leads the nation in field goal percentage (74.2), and senior
Jayden Hill (Kenosha, Wis.) ranks in the top 20 in assist/turnover ratio (4.00) and steals per game (4.25).
