MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's
Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) has been named All-Region for the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), it was announced on Wednesday.Â
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
This is the first All-Region honor for the Warriors' senior, who is the first student-athlete within the program since 2022 to receive All-Region recognition.
Romens ranks fifth in the North Region and is tied for 26th nationally in the High Jump, A three-time Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Student-Athlete of the Week, Romens broke her own school record in the High Jump on Saturday, February 8 at the Red Hawk Invitational by clearing a personal-best 1.66m (5' 5.25"). The mark at the time was good for top-20 nationally.
WLC turns its attention to the outdoor season when it travels to Atlanta, Georgia on March 21-22 for the Emory Spring Break Classic.
