Kenly Frey (Brookfield, Wis.) scored a game-high 16 points and Wisconsin Lutheran College pulled away for a 58–45 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference victory over Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday at Time of Grace Center.
The Warriors improved to 9–4 overall and 6–0 in league play by shooting 42.3 percent from the field, while holding the Falcons to 34.7 percent.
WLC, which never trailed in the game, jumped out to an 8-2 lead in the first quarter over CUW. Sophomore
Abby Cole (Fond du Lac, Wis.) tallied five points and five rebounds in the opening period for Wisconsin Lutheran, which limited Concordia Wisconsin to just 18.2 percent shooting in the first 10 minutes.
The Warriors scored the first eight points of the second quarter to cap a 12-0 scoring run. WLC increased its lead to a game-high 18 points at 26-8 following a three-pointer from Frey with 4:22 remaining. Wisconsin Lutheran shot a game-high 63.6 percent from the floor in the period on its way to a 31-17 halftime advantage.
The Falcons netted 10 of the first 14 points of the third quarter to cut their deficit down to eight points, but a 9-1 run by the Warriors extended their lead back to 16 points with two minutes to play in the third after senior

A low-scoring fourth quarter saw CUW come within six points with seven minutes remaining, but Wisconsin Lutheran answered with seven consecutive points to put the game out of reach, as neither team scored over the final 4:46 of the contest.
Frey led the Warriors with 16 points, while junior
Margie Stevens (Oneida, Wis.) added 15 points, six rebounds, and four steals. Cole controlled the paint with a game-high 12 rebounds to go along with five points.
Concordia Wisconsin (3-11, 2-4 NACC) was paced by Amya Pluess, who scored 10 points. Andrea Butterbrodt was the Falcons' leading rebounder with eight boards.
