CHICAGO, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – Senior
Abuchi Osuala (Milwaukee, Wis.) and sophomore
Sam Ehlke (Jackson, Wis.) recorded top-five finishes for Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday at the Aurora Grand Prix at Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center.
Osuala finished second out of 102 competitors in the 60m with a time of 6.91 seconds, while Ehlke was fourth out of 31 jumpers in the Triple Jump with a strong mark of 13.55m.
On the track, senior
Isaiah Krenek (Aurora, Ill.) turned in a season-best performance in the 400m, crossing the line in 52.87 seconds. In the Mile, junior
Noah Micheel (Mequon, Wis.) posted a personal-record time of 4:36.00, while in the 3,000m, juniors
Silas Ebeling (Wauwatosa, Wis.) and
Arnold Rupnow (Watertown, Wis.) both delivered PR efforts, running 8:52.27 and 8:52.67, respectively. Freshman
Will Kesting (Neosho, Wis.) also recorded a personal best in the event with a time of 9:46.20. Junior
DeShawn Wells (Sioux City, Iowa) added a season-best time of 26.47 seconds in the 200m.
In the field events, Krenek posted a season-best mark of 5.86m in the Long Jump, while three recorded PRs in the Weight Throw. Sophomore
John Mullenberg (Chetek, Wis.) recorded a personal-best 10.99m, senior
Marshall Palmer (Collinsville, Okla.) posted a PR of 10.93m, and sophomore
Kevin Trevino (Lewisville, Texas) added a personal-record throw of 9.34m.
