ALLENDALE, Mich. (WLCSports.com) – Freshman
Sam Splinter (Ixonia, Wis.) broke a 21-year old school record in the 600m on Friday to highlight Wisconsin Lutheran College's performances at the GVSU Big Meet at Kelly Family Sports Center.
Splinter finished 19th out of 54 competitors in the 600m with a school-record time of 1:23.31, breaking Phil Hahm's 21-year old school record of 1:23.88 from 2005.
Senior
Abuchi Osuala (Milwaukee, Wis.) recorded the Warriors' highest finish of the day, placing 10th out 39 sprinters in the 60m with a time of 6.90 seconds.
Junior
Arnold Rupnow (Watertown, Wis.) set a personal record in the 5,000m with a time of 15:10.68.
Freshman
Maddie Metz (Chino Valley, Ariz.) and sophomore
Kirstin Neuwirth (New Berlin, Wis.) both achieved personal bests in the 5,000m of 19:48.06 and 20:17.96, respectively.
