MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College wrapped up the regular season portion of its schedule on Saturday at the Panther Tune-Up at Klotsche Center with eight personal-best marks and two season-best performances.
On the track, sophomore
Patrick Manning-Davis Jr. (Dallas, Texas) won the 60m with a personal-best time of 6.96 seconds. Junior
Brightson Namutenda (Houston, Texas) and sophomore
Jared Frey (New Ulm, Minn.) also recorded personal-best marks in the event of 7.50 and 7.57 seconds, respectively. Namutenda posted a personal best of 9.68 seconds in the 60m Hurdles before adding a season-best time of 24.07 seconds in the 200m. Freshman
Andrew Hauser (Grayslake, Ill.) also turned in a personal best of 24.96 seconds in the 200m.
In the 400m, freshman
Anders Gabb (Los Angeles, Calif.) earned the event win with a personal-best time of 54.54 seconds. Junior
Tyler Kleinhans (Fall Creek, Wis.) followed with a season-best mark of 2:03.31 in the 800m.
WLC returns to action next Friday and Saturday for the 2026 NACC Indoor Championships at the Willmore Center in Ripon.
