RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College placed fourth at the Red Hawk Invite on Saturday at Willmore Center, finishing with 70 team points.
The Warriors picked up several strong performances on the track, led by a pair of podium finishes in the sprints and distance races. Senior
Abuchi Osuala (Milwaukee, Wis.) captured the 60m in 6.89 seconds, while junior
Patrick Manning-Davis Jr. (Dallas, Texas) followed closely behind in second with a personal-record time of 7.03 seconds. Sophomore
Caden Strubbe (Madison, Wis.) added a third-place finish in the 200m, clocking a season-best 23.11 seconds. In the 400m, senior
Isaiah Krenek (Aurora, Ill.) placed fourth with a season-best time of 52.04 seconds, and freshman
Sam Splinter (Ixonia, Wis.) finished fourth in the 800m in 1:59.33. WLC also scored big in the 3,000m as junior
Arnold Rupnow (Watertown, Wis.) earned runner-up honors with a personal-record time of 8:43.35.

Jared Frey (New Ulm, Minn.) finished third with a season-best time of 1:39.54, while the top 4x400m Relay of Krenek, Strubbe, freshman
Caleb Schreiber (Mukwonago, Wis.), and Splinter placed fourth in a season-best 3:32.12.
In the field events, Osuala continued his standout day with a second-place finish in the Long Jump, leaping 6.56m. Krenek also scored in the Long Jump by taking seventh at 5.99m. The Warriors' final top performance came in the Triple Jump, where sophomore
Sam Ehlke (Jackson, Wis.) placed third with a leap of 13.26m.
UW-Oshkosh claimed the team title with 165 points, as the Titans won four events on the day.
WLC will return to action next Friday and Saturday at the GVSU Big Meet in Allendale, Michigan.
