MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's
Abby Cole (Fond du Lac, Wis.) and
Lily Oiler (Watertown, Wis.) have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team, the organization announced today.
The 2025-2026 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or later and carry a minimum grade-point average of 3.50 or higher academically while either appearing in 90% of the team's games or starting in 66% of the team's contests.
Cole, a sophomore Nursing major, started all 30 games for the Warriors this season. She averaged 10.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. The First Team All-NACC selection recorded seven doubles, scored a season-high 22 points on January 21 vs. Lakeland, and collected a season-high 13 rebounds on December 29 vs. Illinois Wesleyan.
Oiler, a sophomore Neuroscience major, also started all 30 games for WLC. She averaged 2.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. The NACC Defensive Player of the Year scored a career-high tying seven points in three games, grabbed a season-high six rebounds on December 3 at Aurora, and dished out four assists on four occasions.
Wisconsin Lutheran wrapped up its 2025-2026 season with a 24-6 overall record and a 17-1 mark in NACC play. The Warriors secured the 14th 20-win season in program history while capturing both the conference regular season and tournament titles. WLC also won an NCAA Tournament game for the fourth time in program history and first since 2019.
