BELOIT, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College broke the 4x100m Relay school record for a second straight week on Friday at the Beloit Relays, as the Warriors had athletes compete in both Beloit and Platteville.
Beloit Relays
WLC's 4x100m Relay team of sophomore
Patrick Manning-Davis Jr. (Dallas, Texas), sophomore
Sam Ehlke (Jackson, Wis.), junior
Brightson Namutenda (Houston, Texas), and senior
Abuchi Osuala (Milwaukee, Wis.) won the event in a school-record 42.48 seconds. They broke a record of 42.58 seconds from a week ago at the REX Foster Twilight.
Senior
Isaiah Krenek (Aurora, Ill.) also competed in the Long Jump and placed fourth at 6.12m.
UW-Platteville Invitational
Juniors
Arnold Rupnow (Watertown, Wis.) and
Silas Ebeling (Wauwatosa, Wis.) competed in a loaded 343-runner 5,000m field at the UW-Platteville Invitational. Rupnow finished in a personal-best and NACC-leading 15:09.33, while Ebeling finished in 16:37.93.
Wisconsin Lutheran continues competition tomorrow at the Marquette Invitational. Field events start at 9 a.m. and running events start at 1:30 p.m. at Melvin "Bus" Shimek Memorial Track and Field Facility in Milwaukee.
