Four-time NACC Coach of the Year Adam Volbrecht is in his 18th season as head coach of the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team. Volbrecht, who spent the 2007-2008 season as an assistant prior to being named head coach, also serves as Dean of Students at WLC.

The Warriors posted a third-place finish at the NACC Championship a season ago, marking their eighth top-3 finish at the conference championship. WLC recorded its lowest scoring average in program history (313.7), and freshman Isaiah Schaser collected All-NACC honors.

Volbrecht's squad became the first team in NACC history to win three straight conference championships after winning the league title by a five-stroke margin in 2017. Wisconsin Lutheran was one of just 17 teams in the 42-team field to make three straight NCAA Championship appearances.

Volbrecht has coached 14 different players who have received a total of 27 All-NACC honors in 17 seasons as head coach, including Roger Fleming Players of the Year Jacob Mortell (2016) and Danny Behm (2009), and Freshmen of the Year Riley Tanzi (2023), Sean Esenberg (2013), and Jake Gaudynski (2012).

A four-year letterwinner (2000-2003) on the Warriors men's golf team, Volbrecht served as team captain for two seasons. His career was highlighted by a second-place finish at the Lakeland Invitational his senior season. He graduated from WLC in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in English. He went on to receive a master's degree in student affairs administration from Ball State University in 2006.

Volbrecht attended Badger High School in Lake Geneva, where he was a two-year letterwinner on the Badgers' men's golf team. He resides in Big Bend with his wife, Taryn, and two sons, Khalil and Jevan.
