Four-time NACC Coach of the Year Adam Volbrecht is in his 19th season as head coach of the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team. Volbrecht, who spent the 2007-2008 season as an assistant prior to being named head coach, also serves as Dean of Students at WLC.

The Warriors continued their record-setting success last season, posting a school-record 313.2 scoring average. WLC has established a new single-season scoring average record in each of the last two seasons. Sophomore Isaiah Schaser earned All-NACC honors for the second consecutive season after placing eighth at the NACC Championship.

Volbrecht has coached 14 different players who have received a total of 28 All-NACC honors in 18 seasons as head coach, including Roger Fleming Players of the Year Jacob Mortell (2016) and Danny Behm (2009), and Freshmen of the Year Riley Tanzi (2023), Sean Esenberg (2013), and Jake Gaudynski (2012).

Volbrecht's squad became the first team in NACC history to win three straight conference championships after winning the league title by a five-stroke margin in 2017. Wisconsin Lutheran was one of just 17 teams in the 42-team field to make three straight NCAA Championship appearances.

A four-year letterwinner (2000-2003) on the Warriors men's golf team, Volbrecht served as team captain for two seasons. His career was highlighted by a second-place finish at the Lakeland Invitational his senior season. He graduated from WLC in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in English and went on to receive a master's degree in student affairs administration from Ball State University in 2006.

Volbrecht attended Badger High School in Lake Geneva, where he was a two-year letterwinner on the Badgers' men's golf team. He resides in Big Bend with his wife, Taryn, and two sons, Khalil and Jevan.
