In two seasons as head coach, Kramer has coached six individual conference champions and his athletes have combined to break 13 school records. Last year, Kramer coached Kendra Schumacher who qualified in the 100m and 200m at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships. She earned All-Region recognition for her mark in the 200m.

Kramer, who has over 13 years of collegiate coaching experience, came to Wisconsin Lutheran after assisting with sprints, hurdles, and jumps at Aurora University. In one season at AU, the Spartans claimed three conference championships, and Kramer's student-athletes accounted for two individual conference championships and the league's Freshman of the Year honor.

Prior to Aurora, Kramer was the Associate Head Track & Field Coach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for six seasons (2012-2018). He oversaw all aspects of recruiting and specialized in coaching sprints, hurdles, and jumps. While with the Panthers, Kramer helped Milwaukee bring home 15 team trophies, including four Horizon League Championships. The Panthers also produced an impressive 88 Horizon League individual titles, 28 school records, and six All-Americans.

Kramer arrived at Milwaukee after spending a season at Franklin College (Ind.). At Franklin, Kramer helped lead the Grizzlies to impressive heights. In 2012, the team posted six school records between the sprint, hurdle, and jump events that Kramer coached. He also served as the meet director for the inaugural Indiana Division III Championships and the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship meet.

Kramer started out his coaching career at Franklin from 2007-2009, quickly becoming an integral part of the coaching staff. In that time, he helped coach the team to the conference indoor title. He also coached two HCAC Most Valuable Track Athlete of the Year winners and two Academic All-Americans. Additionally, he helped guide the school to its first-ever men's and women's cross country league championship titles, including having one men's national qualifier.

In between, Kramer spent two years at Lake Erie College where he earned a master's degree in education and helped send numerous student-athletes to the NCAA Division II Championships, producing 11 All-Americans and an outstanding 31 school records. Kramer also helped coach the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year.

Kramer competed in track & field for four seasons at Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana, where he received a bachelor's degree in history in 2007. He was a three-time national qualifier in the hurdles for the Pumas and holds school records in the 110 Hurdles and Decathlon.

Kramer is married to his wife, Nicole.
