Sami Huebner is in her second season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College men’s and women’s track & field teams. She will coach the Warriors’ hurdlers.

Huebner returned to the Warriors after competing in track & field for four seasons (2016-2019) and graduating with her name on seven school records. The three-time NACC Scholar-Athlete held records in the indoor and outdoor 200m, indoor 400m, as well as a pair of indoor and outdoor relay records. The two-time NACC Student-Athlete of the Week helped the Warriors finish runner-up at the 2019 NACC Outdoor Championships, tying their best finish in program history. Huebner graduated from WLC in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in English.

A native of Sun Prairie, Huebner competed in basketball, cross country, and track & field at Lakeside Lutheran High School. She won four track & field conference championships and was a member of the Warriors’ 800m relay state championship team three straight years.

Huebner is an admissions counselor at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
