Connor Knutson

Connor Knutson is in his third season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College women’s basketball team.

Knutson arrived in Milwaukee following a four-year (2015-2019) collegiate playing career at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Playing in 77 career games for the Pipers, Knutson averaged 8.5 points per game and was named to the MIAC All-Freshman Team in 2015-2016. He graduated from Hamline in 2019 with a degree in communication studies.

A native of Forest Lake, Minnesota, Knutson has coached for the Minnesota Heat and the junior varsity boys’ team at his alma mater, Forest Lake High School. He has also worked camps for the University of Minnesota, Macalester College, Hamline University, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Lynx Academy.

Knutson was a 1,000-point scorer during his prep career at Forest Lake High School, where he was twice named Suburban East Honorable Mention and earned First Team All-Conference honors as a senior. He graduated from FLHS second on the school’s all-time scoring list.

Knutson is enrolled in the college’s Master of Arts program, specializing in leadership and innovation.
