Anthony Kemp is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's and women's cross country and track & field teams.
Kemp comes to Wisconsin Lutheran after completing his collegiate cross country and track & field career at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he received a bachelor's degree in history in 2020. He was a member of the Duhawks' conference championship-winning team at the 2020 American Rivers Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships. Kemp also earned Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors in the outdoor 4x800m Relay in 2018, when he also ran a personal best 1:59.8 in the 800m.Â
A 2015 graduate of Wahlert Catholic High School, Kemp was a five-time state track & field qualifier for the Golden Eagles. He posted a personal-best time of 2:00.3 in the 800m and was a conference champion in the 4x800m Relay his senior year.
Kemp is enrolled in the college's Master of Arts in Education program, specialzing in leadership and innovation. He lives in Milwaukee.Â
