Adam Heinzen, the second-longest tenured SID in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, is in his 20th year as Director of Athletics Communication at Wisconsin Lutheran College. He also serves as a voter for the D3football.com and D3hoops.com Top 25 polls. 

Heinzen, a member of College Sports Communicators, formerly CoSIDA, is the primary contact for all 20 of WLC's intercollegiate varsity sports teams. He oversees the athletics department website, WLCSports.com, social media platforms, athletics publications, in-game statistics, and game day operations.

Since arriving at Wisconsin Lutheran, Heinzen has directed four graphical redesigns of WLCSports.com and received three awards from CSC in its annual publications contest. He has also served as host of several conference championships and worked a pair of NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournaments. In summer 2018, Heinzen and the Warriors hosted the MDIII SID Convention, which brought 70 athletic communication professionals to Milwaukee for two days of professional development.

Heinzen, who graduated from WLC in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in communicative arts, was the recipient of the 2022 Alumni Service Award. As a student at Wisconsin Lutheran, he worked in the sports information office for three years performing a variety of duties.

A native of Manitowoc, Heinzen lives in Milwaukee.Â
