Mike Bruckner

Mike Bruckner is in his second season as a graduate assistantcoach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's and women's soccerteams.

Bruckner was a four-year (2004-2007) letterwinner on the men'ssoccer team at fellow Northern Athletics Conference memberConcordia University Wisconsin. During his career with the Falcons,Bruckner received all-conference honors each of his four seasons atCUW. He was a two-time Wisconsin All-State selection and was namedNSCAA All-Region in 2007. Bruckner finished fourth in NCAA DivisionIII with 16 assists in 2007, which also set a school record. In amatch against Concordia University Chicago that year, he recordedfour assists. This ranked first in NCAA Division III for assists ina game and also set a school record. He currently ranks 11th on theschool's all-time points list.

Bruckner graduated from Concordia Wisconsin in 2008 with abachelor's degree in secondary education - broad field socialstudies. Following graduation, he obtained special education andpolitical science endorsements through the Illinois State Board ofEducation. He has worked as a para professional at Lyons TownshipHigh School and taught all levels of Government at GrayslakeCentral High School. Additionally, Bruckner holds USSF "D" andNSCAA Advanced National coaching certifications.

Bruckner currently resides in Wauwatosa, Wis. He is enrolled inthe college's Master of Arts in Education program, specializing inInstructional Technology.
