Veteran basketball coach Dar Schramm brings 40 years of coachingexperience, an emphasis on details, and a caring attitude to thewomen's basketball program at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
Schramm, who is in his 10th season at Wisconsin Lutheran, servedas head coach of the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School girls'varsity basketball team for 26 years. He also has worked andoperated many basketball camps over the past 40 years. Currently,he teaches geometry and math at Kettle Moraine Lutheran.
Schramm enjoys seeing the athletes progress in their skills andknowledge of the game. "It's always hard to see the seniorsgraduate, but a new crew of freshmen are waiting to take theirplace, so the joys never end."
Schramm attended Dr. Martin Luther College where he playedbaseball and soccer. He graduated from DMLC in 1973 with a bachelorof science degree in education. He attended high school atNorthwestern Preparatory School in Watertown.
Schramm was born September 19, 1950, in Port Washington. Hecurrently resides in Jackson with his wife, Bonnie. He has threemarried daughters, Jennifer, Janette, and Julie, and one son,Justin. He is the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren.
