HANCOCK, Mich. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College
volleyball team began its weekend trip with a 3-0 non-conference
win over the Finlandia University Lions on Friday night at the
Paavo Nurmi Center.
Wisconsin Lutheran won the three-game match by scores of 30-21,
30-28 and 31-29.
Megan Sankey (Waupun, Wis./Winnebago Lutheran) led the offensive
attack with a match-high 13 kills. Ashley Madsen (Watertown,
Wis./Luther Preparatory) finished with 18 assists.
Defensively, Jaclyn Sack (Granger, Ind./Michigan Lutheran) led
the way with 11 digs.
Wisconsin Lutheran (6-15, 4-7 NAC) continues its weekend road
trip on Saturday when it faces off against Mount Mary College and
Northland Baptist Bible College, with the first match getting
underway at 12 p.m. at Finlandia.
