MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team maintained its perfect record in the Northern Athletics Conference with a 4-0 victory over Benedictine University on Wednesday night at Warrior Field.

The Warriors got on the scoreboard just before the half in the 39th minute when Darren Festerling (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) found the back of the net off an assist from Edgar Albarran (Kenosha, Wis./Bradford). The score remained 1-0 heading into halftime.

Wisconsin Lutheran piled on three more goals in the second half as Arik McGathey (Crete, Ill./Illinois Lutheran) began the scoring in the 67th minute off of a pass from Michael Wier (Greendale, Wis./Heritage Christian).

Wier and Albarran added unassisted goals in the 70th and 81st minute, respectively, to send WLC to the triumph.

With tonight's win, the Warriors have already matched their win total from last season with seven games still remaining on their 2007 schedule.

Wisconsin Lutheran (7-5, 4-0 NAC) looks to keep its perfect NAC mark alive when it travels to Sheboygan on Saturday for a matchup against Lakeland College beginning at 3:30 p.m.
