ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College
volleyball team defeated Rockford College in a five-game thriller
on Tuesday night to open Northern Athletics Conference play.
Rachel Hermanson led the Warriors, who won by scores of 30-20,
21-30, 30-28, 24-30 and 15-10, with a game-high 18 kills. Megan
Sankey added 14 kills and 18 digs. Ashley Madsen and Jamie Matz
dished out 18 and 17 assists, respectively.
Erika Laete recorded a total of five blocks, while Jaclyn Sack
had 19 digs.
Wisconsin Lutheran (2-7, 1-0 NAC) will be back in action on
Thursday night when it hosts Marian College in NAC play. The match
is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
