Box Score Box score

MEQUON, Wis. - Eric Treske caught a career-high 11 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns, but the Concordia University (Wis.) Falcons defeated the Warriors 32-14 on a cool Saturday afternoon in their final non-conference game at Century Field.

Treske put the Warriors on top 7-0 when he hauled in a 30-yard touchdown strike from T.J. Bodnar at the 3:24 mark in the first quarter. The Falcons answered back on their next possession on an eight yard touchdown run by Jerome Walker. Concordia converted the two-point conversion after a botched snap and ended up taking an 8-7 lead into halftime.

CUW came out after halftime and scored three third quarter touchdowns, taking a 29-7 advantage into the final quarter.

Bodnar and Treske hooked up again on a 14-yard touchdown connection for the Warriors final score of the day with 10:05 left in the fourth quarter.

The Falcons piled up 242 yards on the ground, opposed to just 35 rushing yards gained by the forest green and white. Each team turned the ball over twice in the game, all via interceptions.

T.J. Bodnar completed 17 passes for 165 yards on 34 attempts. Colin Makepeace led WLC with a game-high 12 tackles, while Micah Adams intercepted two passes and recorded eight tackles.

Wisconsin Lutheran (1-2), who will be off next Saturday for its bye week, will be back in action on September 29 when it opens up conference play at Olivet College. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. in Olivet, Mich.
