Late goal lifts Bucs past Warriors

BELOIT, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team suffered a tough non-conference loss on Wednesday afternoon, falling to the Beloit College Buccaneers 1-0 at the Strong Complex Field.

After both teams played a scoreless first half, Beloit's Brian Maunze found the back of the net in the 81st minute which turned out to be the game winner as the Warriors fell in non-league play.

Wisconsin Lutheran tallied 17 shots in the game, five of which came off of the foot of Jake Jankowski (Muskego, Wis./Muskego), all of which were on goal. The Bucs also managed 17 shots in the contest.

Wisconsin Lutheran (4-3, 1-0 NAC) will move back into conference play on Saturday when it hosts Maranatha Baptist in a 3:30 p.m. match at Warrior Field.
