Women's Tennis blanked by Carroll

WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's tennis team opened its season on Wednesday falling to host Carroll College 9-0 in a non-conference match.

Kara Spiegelhoff and Rachel Wendt, WLC's No. 1 and No. 2 singles players', came close to bringing home a win as they fell 6-3, 6-4 and 6-4, 7-5, respectively.

Wisconsin Lutheran (0-1) will begin conference play on Saturday with a pair of matches. The Warriors will travel to Mequon to face Concordia (Wis.) at 10 a.m., followed by a 2 p.m. match in Sheboygan against Lakeland College.
