MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's
volleyball team picked up its first win of the season in convincing
fashion with a 3-0 sweep of Mount Mary College on Wednesday
night.
Wisconsin Lutheran won in three games by scores of 30-16, 30-20
and 30-7. Rachel Kleinschmit led the Warriors with 10 kills on 15
total attacks. Kaitlyn Wiese added five kills. Ashley Madsen and
Jamie Matz each dished out 10 assists. Matz also recorded nine
digs.
Wisconsin Lutheran (1-5) will be back in action on Saturday when
it hosts a quad with Beloit, Lake Forest and MSOE. The Warriors
will face Beloit at 11 a.m., followed by a match against Lake
Forest at 3 p.m.
