Warriors drop pair of matches at quad

MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Saturday afternoon, falling to Beloit and Lake Forest in a non-conference quad at the Recreation Complex.

In their first match of the day against Beloit College, the Warriors won the first game 30-28. The Buccaneers proceeded to win the following three games 30-24, 30-23 and 30-25.

Megan Sankey tallied 15 kills, while Jaclyn Sack recorded 19 digs.

WLC fell to the Lake Forest College Foresters in their second match of the day, 32-30, 30-20 and 30-23. Sankey once again led the Warriors with 12 kills and 12 digs. Jamie Matz dished out 15 assists.

Wisconsin Lutheran (1-7) will begin conference play on Tuesday when the Warriors travel to Rockford College for a 7 p.m. match against the Regents.
