Neuberger fuels Warriors past Finlandia

MILWAUKEE - Freshman Jenna Neuberger (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) finished with team-highs of 10 kills and 16 digs to lift the Wisconsin Lutheran College volleyball team past Finlandia University 3-1 on Saturday afternoon at the Recreation Complex.

Wisconsin Lutheran won the non-conference match in four sets by scores of 25-14, 25-27, 25-15, 25-19.

Rachel Johnson (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) also added 10 kills in the win, while freshman setter Kailey Buenting (Gifford, Ill./Saint Thomas More) dished out 21 assists.

Buenting and Leanna Miller (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) each totaled nine digs to finish just shy of a double-double.

WLC finished with a season-high .979 serving percentage on seven service aces.

Wisconsin Lutheran (14-8, 4-3 NAC) hosts Dominican University on Tuesday in a NAC match at 7 p.m. at the Recreation Complex.
