MILWAUKEE - Kristen Dillon (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) and Emily Laete (Spokane, Wash./Evergreen Lutheran) scored 27 points apiece to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team to a 76-73 win over Aurora University in a NAC Tournament quarterfinal game on Wednesday at the Recreation Complex.

After Aurora scored the first basket of the game, Wisconsin Lutheran answered with a 14-1 run to lead by as many as 13 points in the first half. The Warriors led 38-31 at halftime.

Wisconsin Lutheran led until the 12:25 mark of the second half when the Spartans grabbed a brief 51-49 lead. WLC countered with a 5-0 spurt to grab a lead that it would never relinquish. The Warriors extended their lead to as much as 12 points (65-53) at the 8:32 mark.

Dillon, who made four three-point field goals in the game, along with Laete, were the only two Warriors to reach double figures on the night.

Aurora shot 40 percent (26-65) from the floor for the game, compared to Wisconsin Lutheran's 40.8 percent (29-71). WLC won the rebounding battle 47-43 and outscored the Spartans 21-10 in second-chance points.

Meagan Re scored 23 points to lead three players in double figures for the Spartans (13-13). Kim Voiles added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Wisconsin Lutheran (16-10) advances to Friday's semifinal game when it will host the Concordia University Chicago Cougars at 7 p.m. at the Recreation Complex. The Warriors and Cougars split a pair of games earlier this season, with both teams winning on their home court.
