MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College
volleyball team fell to the North Park University Vikings 3-0
in its first match of the 2008 season on Friday at the Recreation
Complex.
The Warriors fell in three sets to the Vikings by scores of
25-23, 25-18 and 25-18. Megan Sankey (Waupun, Wis./Winnebago
Lutheran) and Rachel Johnson (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran
each had five kills to lead WLC.
Kailey Buenting (Gifford, Ill./Saint Thomas More) paced
Wisconsin Lutheran with 13 assists, while Jaclyn Sack (Granger,
Ind./Michigan Lutheran) finished with 10 digs. The Warriors were by
plagued by 11 service errors and seven ball handling errors.
Wisconsin Lutheran (0-1) takes on Carroll University at 7 p.m.
tonight in its second and final match of the night.
